Dune Torz Tan Boots. £159 now £79. I love the gold zip running up the back of the boot and the fact that they are leather means they will last a good few years. Love that I can wear them over the knee or fold the top over and have them on the knee. I have just bought these classic boots from Dune!

Cleaning makeup brushes is essential to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria on your skin which can lead to dreaded blemishes. It also removes product build up on the bristles which makes blending easier.
Enter Beautyblender Solid Cleanser – literally a bar of ‘soap’ which makes deep cleaning brushes incredibly easy. Dip brush in to soap, swirl, rinse et voila! I’ve never seen my brushes so clean! I also find it particularly difficult to remove all the colour from my lipstick brushes, but the Solid Cleanser removed every last trace of lipstick as the photos below show.
I’m saying goodbye to liquid brush cleansers – too messy trying to prevent the runny cleanser escaping from the palm of your hand whilst also trying to swirl the brush around.
Eyes are the windows to the soul and using false eyelashes to accentuate them can have a mesmerizing effect. I could smeyes (smile with your eyes) all day long when I am wearing a pair of falsies. I literally feel like a hollywood bombshell! So if you are looking for one makeup item that will instantly transform your look, look no further.
Amazing ShineEyelashes really are a Beauty Steal as they are made from human hair, are nice and bendy and only cost £1.99 per set. They sell varying lengths and styles of full set and individual lashes. They are basically dupes for most premium cosmetic lashes (MAC No. 4 and Amazing Shine No 663 are virtually identical).
I love them because they are made from human hair, so they naturally add volume and length without looking to bulky or obvious. I particularly like the fact that the vein of the lash is clear – no black strip which makes them bendy and super easy to apply and manipulate in to shape.
I have 101, 601, 606, 747-M and the individual lashes in medium.
There is a plethora of makeup and beauty products on sale at the high street shops and online. It’s literally a minefield of makeup that you have to navigate yourself through and it can all be very hit and miss with many items simply not worth the money. In my latest video, I share my top 10 makeup buys under £10 that I have tried, tested and fallen in love with. They are products which I continually reach for and know that perform.
The top 10 under £10 makeup items are (drumroll please…..!)
I have a love hate relationship with under eye concealers. I love them because they correct the appearance of dark circles concealing any signs of tiredness and lack of sleep. But I also hate them because they can settle in creases and emphasise the appearance of fine lines. It’s essentially a choice between the lesser of two evils- dark circles or fine lines? Personally, dark circles are a NO NO especially when I want to achieve a flawless make-up base.
My favourite under eye and blemish concealer is the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. I love it because it’s full coverage and completely covers my dark circles making me look fresh and rested. It doesn’t smudge my mascara, it’s long lasting and has a nice creamy consistency. It claims to provide 16 hours of coverage -( I can’t confirm this as I’ve only ever worn make-up for a maximum of 12 hours). It’s also very versatile as it not only conceals dark circles, but also blemishes and red pigmentation. It’s cheap as chips and is extremely economical as a little goes a long way. I just love this concealer.
I apply a small amount under my eyes using the doe foot applicator, I gently buff it in to the skin using a small flat foundation brush and then tap lightly with my fingers to seal the edges. Remember to set with a loose or pressed powder to add extra staying power and minimise creasing.
If you prefer not to wear a full face of foundation but want something to cover problem areas this may be the answer as it provides full coverage.
The only drawback is that there are only 4 shades in the range Light, Fair, Medium and Deep so do test before you buy.
Affordable and effective
I think the consistency and effect of this concealer matches if not exceeds the performance of other higher end competitors. You can purchase 6 Collection concealers for the price of 1 YSL Touché Eclat. Absolute bargain!
Available to purchase for £4.19 from retailers including Superdrug and Boots.
